Following arrival of information age, more and more scientific data needed to be explained and analyzed in time. Acoustic imaging is to display the data from the information of the underwater as static or dynamic images, providing a powerful tool to analyze the underwater acoustic data, and explore the ocean. It also has the advantage of turbid water operation which can improve the ability of underwater operation.Based on the project-imaging system of Acoustic lens-of the researching team and the experimental demand, the design of the display-controlling software of the acoustic imaging system is introduced. Besides, aimed at the later requirement of displaying the sonar image, the technology of digital image mosaic is researched.In aspect of display-controlling software, based on the study of key technique of software design, real-time processing software of the system which provide the support for target analysis in the detecting area of underwater is developed; In aspect of digital image mosaic technology, mosaic algorithm of image using feature area-based and maximum grads is studied, optical image and sonar image are jointed respectively using the simulation software of Matlab, the two algorithms are compared and analyzed according to the mosaic result of sonar image. Finally, the problem of joint in result of image mosaic is solved using the technology of image composition.Using C/C++,MFC and Visual C++ 6.0, the design of the display-controlling software is finished. The result of the test shows that the display-controlling software has achieved the designed requirement with good display effect, stable work status and convenient operation.
