Research On Image Mining Based On Association Rules

With the wide application of instruments and methods to obtain image data, great capacity for image data can be obtained. The result is the growth of vast databases. It has become an imminent bottleneck that data are excessive while knowledge is scarce. How to use these image data is urgent problems to resolve. This paper gives an overview of the research and application of image mining .It firstly explains the characters of image and the problems which image mining faces. Then it analyzes the model of image representation and the framework of image mining and the technology of image mining.Based on the theories and technologies research of image mining, the paper researched and developed a set of software prototype system of image mining. Through image mining, much image knowledge can be found. Finally, the paper researched the problems to save and manage the image knowledge and the problems of knowledge applications .The paper produced some methods to save and manage these image knowledge by relation database and text file to supply a reference for decision-making.
