The waveguide E-diaphragm band-pass filter is better than traditional filters in performance, and it hardly needs tuning.The paper first describes the research meaning and the background of this project as well as the technical characters of the filters. The basic theory of the waveguide E-diaphragm band-pass filter is also mentioned. Then the basic design theory of microwave band-pass filter is introduced. Thirdly, this paper mainly discusses the precisely analysis method of metal E-diaphragm. Then, a method to synthesize the sizes of a waveguide E-diaphragm band-pass filter and to realize a waveguide E-diaphragm band-pass filter is introduced. Finally, the parameters of the waveguide E-diaphragm band-pass filter are optimized on basis of calculation, the difference between the measured result and simulated result is also investigated. |
