This paper researchs the space-time coding,spatial multiplexing and multiuser diversity in MIMO systems. After introducing the research backgroud,principle,realization,channel capacity and decoding algorithm,we research the antenn selectiom algorithm and adpative resource allocation technique in MIMO spatial multiplexing system。In MIMO systems, the multi-antenna array can bring about performance improvement. However, the antenna array would lead to excessive costs and complexity increase. Antenna selection algorithm can select a certain number of antennas to reduce the complexity and cost. In this contribution, a simple heuristic algorithm based on main eigenvectors of Channel System Information(CSI) is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that the presented algorithm yields a negligible loss compared to the the optimal selection or the subset optimal selection technique, while the computing time is reduced.A multiuser scheduling method for MIMO system using random beamforming technique is proposed. At receiver, the capacity threshold is obtained by using PF parameter in each sub-channel on each user. The simulation shows that, compared with other methods, this method can reduce feedback greatly without much losing in system performance.
