With the development of computer technology, electronics technology, low-power multi-sensor technology and wireless communication technology, wireless sensor network (WSN) was rapidly development. Wireless sensor networks due to their own advantage, both at home and abroad as academics and social widespread concern, has become a hot research field. Wireless sensor network technology was that the 21st century is the most promising technique.Designing data gathering protocol of WSN is the main part of this dissertation. The numbers of sensor node in WSN are numerous and single node is extraordinarily limited in resource. The first aim of designing routing data gathering protocol of WSN is to reduce the overall energy dissipated in the network and to maximize the network lifetime. The author analyzed and compared several typical existing data gathering protocols, and benefit from the excellent thinking, based on the actual application needs, design a new data gathering protocol of WSN -- Differentiated Service based in-network data aggregation Data Gathering protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks (DSDG).DSDG is a differentiated service based in-network data aggregation data gathering protocol. It is suitable for mine safety monitoring and forest monitoring large-scale security detection applications. In the view of network structure, it distributed through the clustering approach to network segmentation into different clusters. Each cluster made up of a cluster head and some common nodes. all cluster nodes with Sink node clustering constructed greedy tree growth. In the view of data types, It will network monitoring data to its keyword value of the division of common data and real-time data, as well as two types of data used to distinguish between services. While in the view of data transmission, monitoring nodes within the cluster of data, Under the first set of keyword threshold determined that the data type, if for real-time data immediately transmitted to the first cluster node, cluster head node to receive real-time data over immediately after greedy tree growth transmitted to clustering nodes; If the normal data nodes in the cluster within the cluster head nodes allocated to it within the slot of data transmitted to the first cluster node, The first node in the cluster data fusion timer trigger, will receive the data with their own data to the monitoring data integration along greedy tree growth transmitted to clustering nodes, greedy tree growth in the intermediate node implementation of the corresponding data fusion operation. DSDG data through an agreement constitutes effective cluster-tree network topology, the network data flow using differentiated service, the data transmission process using highly efficient network data fusion technology, of the existing data collection protocols for greater improvement. The results which simulated on the NS-2 show that DSDG achieves its design goal.
