As the control software complexity, improve quality and support software reuse, and one of the important means that the software architecture since the 1960s, has been put forward software engineering, researchers and practitioners. Software architecture on the global organization form of software system, is the top of system structure of abstraction. For large software system, the system structure of the success of the system design has become a key factor.Produce Task Manager System is the core of how to ensure that the right to order the user information into the production of specific tasks, the task of producing this information accurate and timely delivery to the client (workers) to guide the assembly, through timely feedback to confirm the completion of server-side , To complete production tasks. The design of the system, for the development of information flow, logistics management level, to ensure product quality and enhance customer satisfaction has far-reaching significance.Software architecture description of the architecture is first and foremost issue. At present, common architecture to describe the methods of unified modeling language(UML) to represent the visual description of the methodology and architecture description language for the ADL on behalf of the formal description of the method. Intuitive visual description of the clear, but the lack of formal semantics, the formal description of the strictly accurate, but it is difficult to be understood, not to facilitate the use of the exchange.This article firstly has a general introduction of UML and XYZ/ADL; secondly, introduce the present common three kinds of software architecture refining methods; thirdly, discuss the application of UML and XYZ/ADL in software architecture description combining the Produce Task Manager System. We have a visual description for system requirement model, frame model, dynamic model using UML, and have a formal description for system architecture style, structure model, dynamic model using XYZ/ADL. And then refining step by step based on component, realizing software architecture change from static description to dynamic description; finaly, we have achieved the Produce Task Manager System.In this paper, the research shows: UML and ADL in software architecture description has strongly complementary to each other. Apply the UML and XYZ/ADL into the software architecture description of the Produce Task Manager System, we can bring UML Visualization and ADL accurate reliable merit into play at the same time.
