In the field of chemical application, it is very important to establish an accurate system model for the implementation of advanced control. In this paper, make a chemical plant projects in Shanghai, which calls "PAN production process quality measurement and analysis of soft indicators management system software development", as the issues, make the production of chemical polymerization process as the object, establish the soft measurement model of indicators of the quality for the polymerization process, discuss the modeling method based on SVM, and focus on how to realize the soft measurement system through engineering technology.The main research for the following sides:1. Systematically expatiating the soft measurement technology and the application of the principle of the status quo, and analysing its existing problems. At the same time, introducing the soft measurement technology systematically in five aspects, the choice of variables, data processing, establishing the soft measurement model, on-line calibration and industrial applications.2. Designing a type of mixed model for chemical polymerization process on the basis of understanding the arts and crafts of the polymerization process. The model-output can better reflect the complexity of the dynamic characteristics of the chemical polymerization reaction.3. The simulation results show the algorithm of SVM has stronger learning capability, coming up with improving algorithm named SVM and successfully applying to establishing of soft-sensing in washing process. The results of simulation show learning speed is improved in SVM. The running data show that the precision of soft-sensing model based on SVM meets the practical operating requirement.4. Introducing engineering implement of Soft Measurement technique in Acry prodction. Making detailed introduction from strategy of on-line implement, structure realization of whole system and so on. By the developing mode of combining Visual Basic with Matlab and making full use of database technique, the software package of soft-sensing and fault diagnosis in Acry production process. In addition, some key problems in process of engineering implement are deeply studied.
