Under such background,Speech is as a kind of information transmission,Application of compress coding technology is extensive.with the requirement increasing,speech compress coding arithmetic requires not only upper compose quality,lower coding speed,but also arithmetic complexity is limitied by the operation ability of DSP chip.So the paper discribes how implement G.723.1 on the Davinci,basing on the exsiting arithmetic.Besides optimize it on algorithm level and code level.Generally speaking,there is many problems with regard to researching G.723.1 on Davinci:1. G723.1 speech coding isn't implemented on Davinci;2. Secondly,the calculate complixity of existing G.723.1 speech coding is upper,not reaching the required of Davinci;3. Due to the restriction the the drivers, the Davinci have only a audio extraction;The cause of the problems is that the researching of exsiting G.723.1 reference the source code supplied by ITU-T.But it isn't optimized,the efficiency is very low.Secondly,as a result that Davinci adopt DSP chip of TMS320C64X series.G.723.1 isn't implemented on Davinci.The reserches of the paper include three categories:1.
