Nowadays people have higher requirement on the products'reliability,and the research of the reliability about the product bacomes more and more important.The estimating of the reliability is that we can make use of the failure data to build a model,,then analyse the model's parameter and define the estimated value and the confidence interval values of the parameter.Because of the particularity of the electronic equipments,the estimating of the reliability based upon the failure data bacomes more and more importment.During the collection of the failure data, the products experienced a process of changing of the device and the environment,so we can convert the failure data into the standard environment by using the time environment conversion factor,then estimate the system's realibility.This method can estimate the reliability more exactly. During the process of collecting the failure data, the data was often missed because of some inescapability factors,then how to make use of the lossing data becomes more and more important.Based upon the AMSAA model which has been widely used in engineering,a method of defining the time environmental convesion factor is proposed through optimization process,which make full use of the failure data from the same kind of products during their development tests.The Ant Colony Algorithm(ACO)method is used for solving the optimization process of acquring the time environmental factor,the steps of the process are listed.The research result indicates that the reliability evaluation result according to this method is nearer to the reliability level of the product in its practical use.The Ant Colony Algorithm method is a new stochastic research method in combinational optimization area.This algorithm required no prerequisites of differentiation or even continuation of objective function and can effectively overcome the commen disadvantages of classic algorithm-immersing into local optimum. In this paper,this algorithm is extended and can solve constrained nonlinear optimization problem-the optimization process of acquring the time environmental factor.Numerical examples show that the Ant Colony Algorithm had obvious advantage comparing to classic algorithm in global convergence, and achieved good reliability evaluation result. Based upon the AMSAA model containing the environment convertion factor,a method is used to solve the problem of how to make full use of the data when some dada was missed during the process of the tests. The steps of the process are listed. The evaluation of MTBF is defined. The research result indicates that theis method is reasonable and feasible.
