Research On Radio Propagation Model Modification In Specific Terrain

Classic Okumura model provides a propagation prediction method followed by present propagation models. But because of the statistical attribute, Okumura model illustrates the average path loss results, which ignore the specific environment information.Several modification methods of propagation model are presented in the paper. It introduces the specific terrain propagation model modification, wireless channel research based on ray-tracing method and propagation model localization based on mathematical methods, together with basic knowledge and supporting mathematical equations and methods in details. Channel modeling and simulation, simulating curves and analyses are illustrated respectively. Some model modification can accurately illustrate propagation environment in good performance.
