The Research On Strategy Of Assembling Examination Papers For Online Examination System Based On Feedback Control

As a test technological means, Online Examination System (OES) becomes a widely-applied testing tool, because there are no time and space limitations and there are fair and objective characteristics regarding the examinees. In recent years, the hot spot and the difficulty of researching on OES mainly concentrated on the strategy of intelligent assembling examination papers and on the intelligent evaluation of examination papers. Up to now, the researches on Strategy of Assembling Examination Papers (SAEP) for OES mainly pay attention to the efficiency and success ratio of assembling examination papers, the suitable application scope, and so on. It has brought the new task for the research on SAEP, for the formerly researches considered insufficiently to the main body of examinees.It is mainly focused on SAEP for OES based on Feedback Control (FC), whose aim is to explore a kind of SAEP for OES, so that online examination can be friendlier and more intelligent. From the perspective of the main examinees, one kind of flexible SAEP is established. Consequently, the examinees have some self-decisive in the test process, and, in the reasonable scope, use fewer test questions to reduce the duration of the examination, so that online examination is no longer a boring, intensive and long experience. Firstly, the status of the researches on online examination systematic assembling examination papers strategy is introduced, and the basic steps, the constraints and the mathematical model of the question of assembling examination papers are analyzed, and the problems to be solved in the feedback control process are proposed. Secondly, the usually used assembling examination papers strategies are introduced, Feedback Control Theory is combined, and the comprehensive application of assembling examination papers algorithm based on the Classical Test Theory and the Item Response Theory in OES are studied. The SAEP based on FC is proposed, and the basic idea and process of this strategy, and further discusses key questions about SAEP based on FC is also elaborated: the initial topic's designation, the examinee ability's estimation, the strategy of assembling examination papers according to the examinees' estimated ability, the termination strategy of assembling examination papers, control of the examination papers difficulty and the test question parameter maintenance.
