P2P Tracffic plays a huge role in the Intemet promoting, but also brings accoupate resources over the network congestion, security and digital copyright issues, the natures of free and open let P2P network becoming breeding ground for the spread of illegal content hotbed. In P2P network, the concept of peer allows users to share bandwidth, jointly deal with the informations, each terminal is both a client and a server, which making network model tends to flat.With the large number of P2P applications, network flow model there have been some changes: P2P traffic has become the main flow of Intemet, accounting for 60%-80% of the total, downloading and video-based operations accounted for the majority of business, which impede the normal network operations carried out, has become the killer application of broadband Internet; Due to the P2P characteristic of symmetry, network traffic models gradually migrate from asymmetric to symmetric model; In order to ensure transmission quality, P2P need to create a large number of connections, which are not really data transmition connections, but waste of network resources;In this background, how effective monitoring of P2P traffic has become extremely urgent research tasks. Thesis works in these areas: Summariz and analyze the current domestic and foreign existing P2P traffic identification and control technology, including the common program, system deployment, etc; On the basis of analyzing the advantages of deep packet inspection, design and verify program of identification of BT traffic, DHT traffic and blocking BT traffic;Research on distinction between P2P traffic model with and traditional C/S traffic model, with a focus on analysis of LAN network traffic model and public network traffic model about P2P, design and verify program of identify P2P traffic in LAN network;Combination of deep packet inspection and connectivity characteristic of LAN P2P traffic in the transport layer, design and implement P2P Traffic Monitoring System assisted by stateful node method.
