Based on its characters, the VHF radar has largely application in anti stealth. But the beam of VHF radar is rather wide and it's strong reflection from ground, direct and specular signals are coherent. So it is very difficult to get the height of target accurately, but it's necessary. For such a problem, this paper talks about two algorithms. One is MUSIC algorithm and its improvement based on spatial smoothing. Another is new temporal-spatial sequential Maximum which is according to the radar low-angle tracking environment. Such use the relationship between direct and specular signals, one dimensional search replaces the two dimensional search and low computation complexity. Combining with a project, the design of measure height board and it's software are completed which is used TS101DSP and FPGA. Something that may be regarded in the design is pointed out at last. |
