Smart Antenna System In Ship Communication

Smart antenna has been key technology of the Third Generation Mobile Communication Systems with the character of restraining interferes and aiming at target signals intelligently. This thesis deals with how to improve the performance of ship communication system using smart antenna.This thesis frames some scheme of smart antenna system aiming at the character of ship communication. The above system consists of four array faces, and each face includes three subsystems. How to synchronize the system making use of multi-antennas quickly and effectively and choosing a kind of optimal algorithm are two important parts of this scheme. Since the system protocol and structure are fully known, we can use time slot synchronization information to train the weight of adaptive beams and improve its convergence properties. Simulation results show that the system scheme is accurate and feasible.The technology of Smart Antenna is not incompatible with existing communication, instead, it is an update in technology and performance for existing communication flat and it makes good use of spatial resources of ship communication system. The conclusion in this paper can prove technology support for both traditional and novel ship smart antenna system.
