Design Of Psychological Testing System Based On ERP And Study On Signal Processing Algorithm

Event-Related Potential (ERP) reflects neural activity of the brain of cognitive process, and is a useful tool of studying human advanced cognitive function, so it has a widely application in clinical medicine and cognitive science. ERP establishes a bridge for EEG and Psychological Factors. Over the past decade, there has been great interest and a rapid development in the research of communication between Event-Related Potential and Cognitive psychology.Recently, there are many ERP station abroad, and that our countries' research in this field are relectively backward, only have many theory achievements.There have not perfect Psychological Testing System by now, and the Algorithm of ERP Feature Extraction need to be approved.Therefore, it is important for life science, especially for the study of neuro-physiology and neuro-psychology.In this paper, we made an in-depth study on the basic theory, algorithm and application of ERP Feature Extraction, the following work is performed:â‘ The article has established complete psychology detecting system that based on ERP. We conclude that the psychology detecting system that based on ERP should include stimulation system and signal analysis system through learning the forming mechanism and extraction principle of ERP and combining the characters of original psychology detecting system; Then we choose proprate development platform, design the stimulation system and signal analysis system using the tools as VC,VB and Matlab etc, implement the algorithm through the two systemes, after online and measuring,we acheive a complete psychology detecting system.â‘¡The reserch has improved the FastICA algorithm, and also use the algorithm into the extraction of ERP. The characteristic wave form extraction of ERP is the key part of this article.Many facts have proved that ICA method can universerly apply to eliminate the noise and intense the valueble signals in EEG this universerlity is an important breakthrough for traditional methods such as Average stack processing and Time-frequency analysis FastICA algorithm is one kind of ICA algorithms, it has many advantages, using the approved FastICA algorithm ,we can accelerate iterative speed and enhance the extracting effection.â‘¢The article has designed new experiment method, we study the psychology detection by which. We konw that the stimulation experiment method has great effection on the results of psychology measuring system. My article analysised the internal relationship of ERP and brain cognitive,psychology, used the multi-enmotion face as stimulation material, stimulated from different angle, the experiment requst confirming the face pictures wether familiar or unfamiliar, then formed ERP N400, through analyzing the amplitude,latent period, and the comparison of correcting rate and Reaction Time about subjects. Finally, we draw an effective conclusion.Generally speaking, this system structure is comprehensive, compared with the situation that many domestic scholars still use foreign ERP work station,we have got certain progress.This research has advanced the extraction algorithm and experiment method ,so it has a certain degree of reference value.
