The research has studied the relative problems of chaos control and its application in secure communication using the methods of modeling and numerical simulation. The main work in this paper can be summarized as follows:The anti-synchronization of a class of chaotic systems under random perturbations is analyzed; the applicable range of state observer method is extended to realize the anti-synchronization of the chaotic systems with constant coefficients. In addition, an example of the application in secure communication is given.The main properties and limitations of the single-stage chaotic communication system are analyzed; the synchronization problems of multistage chaotic system are investigated and a new type of multistage chaotic communication systems is proposed: the three-stage chaotic communication systems based on PC method.A hexadecimal number communication system are designed based on chaos shift keying using the method of the synchronization based on state observer, the model of the receiver and transmitter is given.The hyper chaotic system of 6th-order CNN is proposed, and its synchronization is realized based on state observer. In addition, a multi-ary number communication system based on this hyper chaotic system is given.An asynchronous communication scheme is proposed, and based on this scheme a model using hyper chaotic system of 6th-order Cellular Neural Network (CNN) is designed, improving the conventional ones to enhance the security of asynchronous communication.The conventional masking scheme is optimized by using improved state observer method and system-alternating method, a new secure communication scheme which overcomes the drawbacks of chaotic making is proposed. In addition, the model of this whole communication system is constructed under the system simulation environment of Simulink.
