Laser Direct Manufacture a laser direct metal fabrication method, It is essentially combination of laser cladding technology and rapid prototype manufacturing method. Laser Direct Manufacture has many outstanding advantages, such as processing time is short, less waste material, application processing a wide variety of materials, workpiece surface with no contact, as required production of special components, and other properties, is a potential of advanced manufacturing methods.Combination LASER and laser optical path, the first laser processing, complex CNC machine tools, powder systems for Laser Direct Manufacture test. Through the design, installation, commissioning of laval nozzle, solve the problems of the Laser Direct Manufacture dust and flying basically. Through the improvements , the system can accurately feed powder into laser beam, and enhanced the fabrication quality of Laser Direct Manufacture.Laser Direct Manufacture is influenced by numerous factors, because it must analyze many characters of object parameters in laser welding. By virtue of ordinary method can not analyze the result of experimentation objectively and rapidly, it can not guide the next experimentation. The paper proposed a Laser Direct Manufacture intelligent adjustment based on principal component analysis, this method calculate the welding parameters such as laser pulse width, frequency of laser beam, quantity of feeding powder, welding speed, this method also analyze the relationship of primary and secondary such as welding width, welding thickness, shape of laser welding, get the relationship of primary and secondary table about the fabrication parameters. By using intelligent adjustment about the welding parameters, it can get better fabrication parameters. Experimental study validate the validity of this method, and also get the metal part which has excellent shape and measure precision.Right after the formation of Laser Direct Manufacture, the paper analyze the density of the material and the microscopic morphology, test the mechanics capability of material. By choose the appropriate welding parameters, Laser Direct Manufacture system machining a complex geometric shape.
