The strong background noise-interference makes the performance of many voice processing systems declined dramatically during Digital Speech Communication. The research on enhancement speech technology and practically is very necessary to allay these noise impact. Speech Enhancement technology has been widely used in many fields such as mobile telephones,Scene recording and military eavesdropping and so on. It also has been the pretreatment of many speech coding and identification systems. Through enhancing treatment, the anti-noise capability of original system in noisy conditions could be improve greatly.A number of experiments show that under the strong noise background, Adaptive Filter adaptive noise cancellation method of noisy voice enhanced the best results. Adaptive Filter is one of the forefront problems on the filter development. Adaptive filter has broad application prospects in the digital signal processing field.This thesis which is based on the extensive literature survey studies on the principle of adaptive filter in-depth understanding ,and makes Adaptive algorithms for the synthesis, separation, review and analysis,then select Adaptive algorithms which is suitable for FPGA hardware implementation that is LMS adaptive algorithm. lays a good theory foundation for the hardware of Adaptive Filter, prepares the adaptive filter point M documents in MATLAB,carries out a simulation,and comes to a reasonable outcome.With the development of electronic design automation,FPGA greatly enhanced and its application also become more extensive. Therefore, the FPGA has become the first choice to complete adaptive filter hardware system . This thesis applies Verilog HDL description language and popular top-down design to complete the design of hardware system on the Quartus II platform. The program is downloaded to the production company Altera Cyclone II devices to make the simulation results achieve the desired effect.
