With the development of Internet and the explosion of information,the Web-based shared information system is widely used in academe, Commercial organizations and government organization. With the Internet,it constructs a system-covered scientific resource sharing platform and scientific research management network, and realizes"the entire process of management"with overall consistence and dynamic, promotes the level and efficiency of the scientific research management. With the platform of the large Web Database system, developing the Web-based management information system becomes an important content of the academe's information construction.This article considered"the Unionfund Shared Information System"as background, gave the first analysis and comparison of the C/S and B/S mode characteristics, pointed out the reason for adopting of the B/S mode. Follow by introduction of the present prevailing technology .NET and AJAX, this article analysed the superiority in development of the system with these technology. After giving a particular requirement analysis of"the Unionfund Shared Information System"this system followed the principle of practicability, advancement and expansibility, adopted the object-oriented design pattern. The system was divided into four layers: Database, Business Logic and Presentation. It gave the description of design philosophy for each layer, united the Persistent-Object technology in the Data Service and uses Data Base connection pooling technology in Data Service to establish highly efficient, safe connection, avoiding establishing and closing connection frequently. In the meantime, using AJAX technology to design client to solve the problem of high bandwidth and network flow from traditional Web application and achieving the expectation effect. Besides, it gave plenary consideration for the interface design and contributed with economy, effective, network, and provides an effective scheme for the improving the standardization level and efficiency of project research Management.
