With rapid development of information technology, in military communication systems, various weapons, communication and electronic devices are increasing continuously in military equipments, which result in a great many antennas in these equipment, antennas are facing the challenge of multi-band, miniaturization and integration. In this paper, multifunction integrated antennas used for submarine communication are studied, three antennas of different band, usage and shape are installed together in the top of a steel can buoy, which are floating on the sea. The antennas are Beidou antenna (receiving frequency is 2492MHz, sending frequency is 1616MHz), which works as a satellite communication antenna; X band antenna (9.2GHz-9.5GHz), which can communicate with navigation radars of watercrafts nearby; VHF antenna (156MHz-157MHz), which can communicate with broadcasting station antennas of adjacent watercrafts.Firstly, two kinds of Beidou satellite communication antennas are designed. The first one is a dual-feed square dual-patch microstrip antenna fed by coaxial line, quadrature feeding is used to realized circular polarization. The second one is a dual-feed round multi-patch microstrip antenna, coupling feeding is used to get a better isolation of two feeding ports. Then a novel compact Beidou receiving antenna is proposed, left-handed transmission lines are used to realize a quadrature feeding network. Secondly, conformal array antennas are used to realize two X band array microstrip antennas. one is conformal array microstrip antennas on circular cylinder, the other is on hexagonal prism. These antennas have good characteristics of gain and omni-directional horizontally polarized radiation. Finally, a novel combining reused VHF antenna is presented, which makes use of grounds of Beidou antenna and X band antennas. The VHF antenna is fed by gamma matching method, which is realized by series and shunt capacitors, and the antenna has a characteristic of miniaturization and omni-directional vertical polarization. The multifunction integrated antennas are realized by the three antennas given above. |
