Design And Realization Of Hibernate-based Teaching Evaluation System

During the transitional period of higher education from elite to mass, declining of educational quality has become a problem that can't be ignored. As the first position of education, classroom instruction plays a decisive role to the success of education. Teaching quality evaluation is to collect information extensively for evaluation based on the task and goal of the institute, according to fixed procedures, with the application of scientific method and through modern technology, and conduct value and fact judgment to the teaching quality for each teacher; give the directional, encouragement and improvement functions of teaching evaluation a full play through feedback of evaluation and effect of regulation and control. Many universities have used networked teaching evaluation platform according to their own teaching practice.The ripe persistence layer Hibernate is an ORM structure for open source codes. Hibernate is the bridge between JAVA application and relational database. It is a Persistent Middleware based on Java open source code and has made lightweight encapsulation for JDBC. It can offer not only ORM service, but also data inquiry and buffer memory function, which enable Java programmer to handle the database freely by using Object-Oriented programming thinking. In addition Hibernate has got strong power by absorbing all essence of design patterns.This paper attempts to comprehensively analyze and make a detailed comparison between development technology and Data Persistence Technology, particularly study the persistence layer framework of Hibernate as well as introduce current situation of teaching evaluation, and pose the flaws in the process of traditional evaluation, by developing teaching evaluation system in the light of Informatization of teaching affairs. This system has been working well by adopting persistence layer framework of Hibernate as well as demand analysis by UML modeling tools and multi-layer architecture design of J2EE structure with Object-Oriented methods.Compared with previous projects, with the application of the system, coding of the database operating data code is reduced greatly, complexity of software development is reduced, efficiency of software development is improved, and flexibility and maintainability of the system is strengthened, so the system has great value in application and teaching.
