The Study Of Automatic Creating OWL For Law FrameNet Database

The resources in the Word Wide Web are growing explosively. But because of the lack of organizing and managing, the people cannot use these resources sufficiently. The people try to find new methods to change the traditional model which looks up the resources by searching the keywords. Since the Lee has mentioned the Semantic Web, this new words is used in information retrieval. In the processing of intelligentized retrieval, the ontology plays an important role. Ontology is a new method for information organization based Web. It can organize and manage the information in Internet sufficiently. From the standpoint of knowledge sharing, ontology is an explicit account or representation of (some part of) a conceptialisation. It can describe the concepts and relations which exist objectively. It expresses the dormant concepts and reduces the mistakes when machine understand the concepts and logic relations.The Law FrameNet Datebase is on the theory of FrameNet which is started from Berkeley and presided by Fillmore. It coordinates and modifies the law frame in FrameNet according to the Chinese law. The database consists of frame database, lexical unit database and the sentence database. The every frame in the frame database includes the basic information, frame elements, lexical units which is subjected by one frame, the semantic type and the frame relations. In this paper, we deal with the frame database. We will program a software to create a Law FrameNet Ontology automatically. The lexical unit database and the sentence database will be treated in the future.Jena is developed by hp and used to develop the program based on Semantic Web. In the basis of designing thought of the Law FrameNet Ontology, the Law FrameNet Ontology model will be created automatically by Java deploying Jena. Then create the homologous relations between the model and the database. At last, the model will read the data from the database by SQL and obtain the appropriate data. In order to use conveniently, we provide a page as a Man-machine Conversation with the JSP. In this page, users can either choose the part of the frames or all the frames to achieve the switch between the Law FrameNet Database to ontology.Because this software is fully on the basic of database, it cannot deal with the information that don't exist in the database, we will lose a lot of useful information. We seek help from the software Protege. From the Protege, we can import the lost information manually. After we fill all the information to the ontology, we use the software Racer which can check up the ontology from the aspect of consistency and the classification and evaluate the ontology. The software mentioned in this paper provides a thought for the transform between database and ontology and a basis for transforming the sentence database to ontology.
