The steam-injection boiler is the important equipment in producing viscous oil, and is the main energy consumption facility. At present, in our country the steam-injection boiler's integrated operation is lower than abroad, especially in the energy using. Therefore, it is very essential to control the energy consumption of the steam-injection boiler. There are many parameters to control when the steam-injection boiler is operating. Its operating mode is adjusted by experts according to their experiences, but the operators can not do that. So, it is very essential to develop an expert system for the steam-injection boiler. This expert system can analyse the condition of energy consumption of the steam-injection boiler and guide the boiler's operating to keep it economy.The main achievements in this thesis are:1. The structure and the workflow of the steam-injection boiler have been learned by looking up reference and investigating. The flue gas heat loss, heat emission loss and non-full burning loss are the main loss of the steam-injection boiler. At present, there are many methods to be used to improve efficiency and reduce heat loss. These methods include the application of hign-temperature radiation coating, the application of the technology of emulsified fuel, the application of heat recovery unit of flue gas, the application of hardness on-line monitoring in water treatment, the application of the monitoring technology of air surplus coefficient, the application of the technology of cleaning the hard scale of boiler's fin tube and the application of steam dryness on-line monitoring.2. Knowledge base of expert system for steam-injection boiler has been build. Knowledge representation of rule is worked out. The structure of knowledge base is build by the database of relational data model. In order to add rules and delete reduplicate rules, knowledge base has the function of addition, deletion and so on. In order to maintain and manage knowledge base easily, knowledge bade has been divided into four databases which are correlative. These databases are used to store rule's serial number, qualification, conclusion and expert's opinions.3. Inference engine of expert system for steam-injection boiler has been build. Positive inference has been used. According the datas which is monitored and calculated, the inference engine uses the knowledge to diagnose. Knowledge expression is build by combining prefabricated text with pursued explaining.4. According the requiring, expert system for steam-injection boiler includes the monitoring of circulate state, the calculation of thermal efficiency, the management of database, the diagnosing of circulate state and the management of knowledge base. When the system is working, it starts to monitor the boiler's operation. According to consumer's requiring and the data monitoring from boiler, the system supervise the boiler's operation to keep the boiler security and economy.
