This paper's project is resourced from"research the system of assuring the resource of the education information security via authenticating the user's identity", which is belong to"TianDi network project of key technology and supported service system in modern distance education", and the target is to design the archetype system of identity authentication based on characteristic of B-spline curves, so as to meet the request of security demand.Identity authentication technology is one primary aspect of information security, and is the first barrier of security system. It has important significance both on research and application field.A scientific definition of identity verification is proposed, and a variety of identity authenticating technology is introduced. The feasibility of personal identification system based on characteristic of B-spline curves is demonstrated, and the key role of it within the network information system is depicted.Microsoft Company's COM technology and ASP technology are used with the environment of VC++ to integrate identity authentication with Web database technology, and we develop system of identity authentication based on the characteristic of B-spline curves, which runs on the platform of Internet. The characteristics of curve are integrate into the identity authentication technology for the first time and applied to information security of education network.The system's design and the structure are proposed, and the key points are discussed, including the creating of point set file and the matching of curves. Moreover, the binary quantum particle swarm optimization is first applied to matching module and the realization is given.
