Control and synchronization of the chaotic systems are always the focuses and forefront projects in academic research. Chaos is an extremely complex common phenomenon which is generated by a deterministic nonlinear system. It appears everywhere both in the nature and society. Since chaos has mach strange character such as"butterfly effect", it is the hot topic and the difficult problem to depress the harmful chaos and introduce favorable chaos. This paper focuses on unified chaotic system with parameter, time-delay chaos systems, new chaotic system and Chen chaotic systems. By constructing proper Lyapunov functions and using the impulsive control, feedback control method, aimed at achieving chaos control and synchronization.We generalize the content as following:At first,according to the actuality and development tide of domestic and foreign research,systematic review is presented the development history of chaos control and synchronization,chaos definition and its characters. The introduction illustrates some common approaches related with the research of the chaotic system.Secondly,focuses on the Chen chaotic systems, by using linear feedback control, nonlinear feedback control,nonlinear feedback synchronization, nonlinear feedback mismatch synchronization method, research on control and synchronization of these chaotic systems.Finally,this paper presents some sufficient conditions for the global stability and global synchronization of the almost periodic solution for a class of impulsive control of a class of unified chaotic system with parameter, time-delay chaos systems and a new chaotic system by using Lyapunov functions and impulsive control method. Comparing with known literatures, the results of this paper are new and they complement previously known results.
