With the popularity of computer and the great volume of the handling of data, all sorts of data types are on the growing. Therefore, in the real world, the processing problem of the large quantity of uncertainty information is gradually emerged, but the original model of relational database can not solve these uncertainties easily. It's impossible to describe these uncertainties by data accurately, but it can be indicated in a unclear way; the probability is the most appropriate. As the probability data can not be expressed by the classical relational database, after the further improvement and addition of the theory of classical relational database, the probabilistic relational model of the non-classical theory of relational database is produced .It has played an important role on the development of the theory of relational database, and has the profound influence on promoting the application for the theory of relational database in the future.With the growing consumption of electricity in today's society, the data of electric power is increasing; the state is becoming more and more complex. So it is better to apply to the non-classical theory of relational database. This thesis focuses on the investigation and application of the probabilistic relational model in the non-classical theory of relational database. Firstly, it explains the influence of the probabilistic relational model on the operation of database, it also indicates the semantic and algorithm of the probabilistic relational model. Secondly, in order to realizing the processing of uncertainty information, the thesis bases on the probabilistic relational model of the non-classical theory of relational database, doing some research on the application in electric power and algorithms of probabilistic sign of probabilistic relational model. Thirdly, in the establishment of the probabilistic relational model of electric power, this thesis explores value of probabilistic sign of probabilistic relational model, and eventually come to the relevant formula. Finally, the load management system is developed for Xinzhou Power Company.Through analyzing and researching a lot of power data of the load management system of Xinzhou Power Company, this thesis gives the formula of calculating the value of probabilistic sign of probabilistic relational model of power data. The formula is used in stored procedure so as to generating the data item which is stored in a new table and realizing the probabilistic model is built which the primary table is the new table finally.The load management system which based on probabilistic model has been used by Xinzhou Power Company. It has obtained good economic and social benefits. By calculating the value of probabilistic sign in stored procedure, the page codes are reduced, the running speed are accelerated, the integrality of data is preserved.Research shows the probabilistic model is suitable for the processing of the uncertainty information types when data is mass. But the key point lies on how to choose the suitable formula for calculating the value of probabilistic sign of probabilistic relational model. As the result, the formula for calculating the value of probabilistic sign is one of the key works in applied research of probabilistic relation model in the future.
