Objective:By selecting and matching study on conventional chest scan parameters of the 4-slice Spiral CT,discussing the optimization of chest conventional examination parameters, improving the image quality of 4-slice CT in the diagnosis of chest diseases.Method:During the study of 60 patients, the patients are applied to two conventional chest scan parameters.By different scanning parameters they are divided into two groups.Group A:scan collimation of 8.0 mm,pitch of 3.5 and reconstruction slice thickness of 8.0mm,Group B:scan collimation of 5.0 mm,pitch of 6.0, reconstruction slice thickness of 8.0 mm.A group using the entire lung scan to find the tubercular, cloddy and bronchiectasis;in order to reduce the volume of patients'ray, group B was targeted at focus scanning, namely to scan the scope of the focus.,analyzing and evaluating the received the MPR axial images and post-processing images.Results:(1)The tubercular and cloddy focuses and broncheiectasis focus in the axial source image shows that group B is apparently superior to group A.The quality of group B in mediastinal image is obviously better than that of group A and both the two group of images on chest wall parenchyma are dim,the muscle gaps are unclear and the image quality do not vary;(2)Image of group B is noisier than that of group A and the two groups varies greatly;(3)MPR coronal image quality of group B is obviously better than that of group A.Conclusion:But image of group B is noisier than that of group A,scan B is obviously superior to that A in capturing axial image and MPR image with higher quality, improving the scanning speed, reducing the mobile shadows, improving time resolution, reducing the radiation dosage and expanding the useful life of X ray globe. Thus, this parameter matching in multi-slice CT chest conventional examinations is more valuable for clinical application.
