Aluminum is one kind of the most common used metals,an important basic raw material for our country's economy development.Since Charles Martin Hall from the USA and Paul Louis Heroult from the France invented the electrolysis technics to make aluminum at the same time in 1886,aluminum-electrolysis technics has come through the course of pre-baked—self-baked—pre-baked electro-bath.At present,Our country's aluminum-electrolysis manufacture all adopt the pre-baked electro-bath, We also adopt manual and discontinuous technique to measure the temperature of electro-bath shell,Which is very behindhand,wastes manpower and material resources but low effects,This technique also harms worker's body health and couldn't measure hidden trouble in time.So it's cry for realize automatically,continuously and real-time measure the electro-bath shell's temperature.The fiber Bragg grating sensor has many strongpoints such as small volume,high sensitive,steady,re-electromagnetically,be prone to composing distributed measure system etc.Contrast several high temperature measure techniques common used presently.Empolder a system that could measure the electro-bath shell's temperature utomatically,continuously and real-time,It's based on the fiber grating sensing technology.This project's research and actualization would fill up the domestic blankness,provide a techno-instrument to measure the aluminum electro-bath's temperature,enhance aluminum-electrolysis manufacture's efficiency and product's quality,and avoid occur accident in time.The anticipative technical target of this project is,The cathode steel-stick's temperature measure scope is 0~600℃,lateral steel-plate's is 0~600℃,bottom steel-plate's is 0~400℃.Each electro-bath has 100 temperature measure points,Each workshop designed as has 100 electro-baths.System's precision is±1℃,Response time is less than 30 seconds,Using life is about 100,000 hours(more than 10 years).The paper introduces the fiber Bragg grating's basic configuration and appling actuality,and also introduces the research and application's actuality of the FBG high temperature sensor.Then discusses the theory model of fiber Bragg grating,deduces a temperature model,which is based on coupling model theory.The paper introduces several kinds of FBG sensor's demodulating techniques common used now,Then discusses demodulating principle of the sm125.This project adopts sm125 made by MOI in the USA as sensor signal's demodulating instrument.The investigation of the technical scheme's feasibility and the work of basic research, design have taken a whole year,On the basis of electro-bath' three kinds temperature points' measure request in the plants Yankuang Ke-Ao Aluminum Ltd.designed the hardware system of this project.The hardware system is composed of heat-resistant FBG sensor's encapsulation,connection and clamp's configuration,sensor's line collocation and the system's optical route.An experiment Using FBG sensor measure high temperature had been done,Set up the experiment's setting,Then narrate the experiment's process,result and conclusion.Based on experiment design a high temperature FBG's demarcating system,which use electrothermal stove like plate heat up the sensors,The temperature data is transmitted through serial port to computer by SCM,Then demarcate the sensor S1 and S2 using this demarcating system and get demarcating result.The software system of the project is designed during the LabVIEW 7.1 environment, Demodulating procedure is quadratic designed based on the sm125's primary procedure,The optical switch's automatic control procedure and the data's real time watch and control procedure are joined.The soft-ware system's primary function include,temperature's real time watch and control,data memory and historical data's demand three parts.Finally,The paper summarizes the project's primary research work and conclusion got,Then prospect the more research work need complete.
