The trajectory and query of spatial moving object are key technique in moving object database.The management of moving objects has been intensively studied in recent years.In this paper, we focus on the query of moving object trajectories in unconstrained environment and in network.Before establishing index structure of moving object trajectory, we should set up model of moving object trajectory. The issue of moving object trajectory is researched in this paper. Two expressions of moving object trajectory are linearity insert model and curve function model. There are some warps to trajectory model and actual trajectory in the database. So the spatio-temporal incertitude and dubious trajectory query are set forth. The update strategies of diversified moving object trajectories are analysed and compared.The paper analyses the disadvantages about an index method based on STR-tree which index the past trajectories.TB tree and TB~* tree shows its advantages in holding full trajectory. TPR tree, bar index and FT quare tree are discussed in the future query. The index method that can support past, current and future trajectories simultaneity at one time is few, drawing inspiration from the success of Q+R tree, index methods RT+QT tree and RT~*+QT are presented.In many applications, movement is modeled to occur in network rather than its unconstrained environment.We develop novel models for network and its object trajectories due to the differences between unconstrained movement and constrained movement. Aim at the shortage of the indexes that had ben pretented, a novel moving object motion trajectoties model MON~*-tree that base fix network is developed. This structure can index the real time position information of moving object. This structure can improve the update ability of the system and store the complete trajectoties of the moving objects in network.
