Currency Identification System Based On ARM And T-Kernel

With the development of self-service industries, how to monitor vast and scatted currency identification system more quickly and efficiently,and how to improve the development quality and efficiency of the new currency identification system become key problems.The embedded processor S3C4510B and embedded OS T-Kernel are choosen according to the characteristics of modern finance currency recognition equipments, the T-Kernel that can provide a reliable support as a system core is pointed out and the appropriate networking scheme is selected in the thought of the network requirement of large number of scattered currency validator.On this basis, the currency identification system based on T-Kernel is redesigned.The works that have done in the system design phase are: the hardware function modular which had been implemented is transplanted and improved,the design and implementation of the Bootloader program and interrupt manage program are completed,some popular wireless LAN's characteristics and applications are analysed and ultimately the IEEE802.11b standard as the basis for research and design is selected. In the thesis hardware electric circuit of the MAC controller is designed.According to the modularized program thought, the thesis has designed the MAC layer protocol software, introduced the function of each module agreement and implementation methods in detail and also developed a high-adaptability Contention-Window(CW) resolution mechanism to satisfy the requirements of high throughput and good fairness.
