Since 1895 William Roentgen discovered X-ray, and applied to medical diagnosis, then doctors could see the lesions by the images, visualization, so that began to the era of non invasive diagnosis. In recently years , with the poplarity and widely application of large CT machine, radiology doctors have been no longer satisfied with the simple,isolated,semi-automated image processing analytical methods and some functions which are not too much practical helpful for doctors to analysis the images provided by the machine own software system. So, Computer help doctors to read image, and then makes the diagnosis conclusions automatically, it become the new clinical needs.Along with the continued mature of the digital image processing technology, pattern recognition technology and machine learning technology, diagnose digital CT images by computer become possible. Through computer-aided diagnosis and automatic analysis of medical imaging, this is not only a certain guiding to clinicians in a certain extent, but also can reduce misdiagnosis and misdiagnosed by low grade doctors, and improve work efficiency as well.The main purpose of this subject is automatically receiving a variety of lung cancer pathological features data which can help the doctor to make the diagnosis conclusions of the disease. This article taking the centre for computer-aid of solitary pulmonary nodules, first introduced on the current researching status at home and abroad and related technologies and standards, then on how to identity and extracted the solitary pulmonary nodules from CT images, then realized various kinds of analysis methods of lung cancer pathological features such as burr,lobulation,cavity on the basis of the analysis of the shape, finally designed and implemented the solitary pulmonary nodules auxiliary processing and analysis experimental platform based on CT images, and the methods mentioned above have been verified on the platform. The test results shows that the proposed method is effective,feasible, and the method solved the question about computer-aided diagnosis of solitary pulmonary nodules.
