Inverse Synthetic Aperture radar (ISAR), in which the radar is stationary and the target is moving, can work all day, all weather has become one of the main technique Used in imaging the moving target far from the sensor. Especially in reentry measure of missile, if use ISAR during vacuum distributing,object identify and object peculiarity analysis, will greatly improving efficiency of radar and capability of missile.Study the technology of ISAR is usually based on ISAR imaging. Firstly, the theory of ISAR is introduced form physical concept and ISAR imaging processing using simulated data, then common ISAR algorithms are discussed. lastly , as the missile is very fast, the paper analytics and demonstrate it is valuable for research on data modify and motion compensation.On the basis of the feasibility of using ISAR imaging technology is analyzed on the narrowband radar, based on the abundant reentry-visional and multi-target environment of the special target. a creative idea about designing a system which can ranger profile by use of ISAR imaging technology based on Monopulse Narrowband Radar, acquire a favorable effect.
