Study On The Evaluation System Of Concrete Apparent Quality Based On Image Recognition

The external appearance of concrete is outside indicator of the intrinsic quality of concrete, and it has become one of important targets of quality ratings for projects in construction. The demand for a consistently high-quality external appearance finish in products inspection introduces requirements that cannot easily meet by manual inspection. So it is needed to find new methods which are more convenient and credible.Using the processing method of real images, this paper discusses a new method, which can be used to realize the defect inspection and identification of the various defect types on concrete surface, so as to present a mean for the evaluation on the surface quality of the material. An automatic evaluation system plan is designed to process and recognize the external appearance of concrete and the application is followed in project.Firstly, with the quaternion model, the way for color image recognition based on quaternion matrix is introduced. The singular value (SV) feature vector of a color image ,as one of Algebra characteristics, is applied to color image recognition. According to the characteristic of the Mathematics images, the Paper works out the recognition project in which the closest—Criterion is regarded as the Sorter,and then the recognition effections are analysed. In view of the characteristic of the various defect types,the information of color and color—space, an algorithm of excludible clustering main color extraction is brought forward to fulfill the color sampling for color mark of the external appearance of concrete. After the binary images are calculated by the means of the predefine morphogenesis operation, the diagnostic parameters for evaluating are extracted and suggested its range, according specialist opinion. Finally, automatic evaluation system is schemed out in MATLAB; Moreover,the frame of the intelliget software system to judge the the external appearance of concrete is discussed briefly.Research on the concrete appearance quality evaluating based on the technology of digital image processing and pattern recognition presented in this paper, in a way ,can process digital image and recognize the defect type, which process is digital,technological,systematism and standardized. The last part of the paper, some suggestions are presented.
