The Research Of Intelligent Surveillance Systems Based On VFW Technology

In recent years, video surveillance system has been widely applied in many fields, which plays an important role in our lives. Today, it has become stress its intelligence level. Currently the research of which is a hot point in and out. The biggest advantage of digital video surveillance system is that can use computer graphics image processing methods to achieve intelligent. The kernel technology is moving target detection, identification and extraction.This paper using Video for Windows technology to gather, edit and play the video data, The intelligent design of it mainly reflected as the following:Firstly, author had researched about moving target detection and relevant contents. Basing on the difference of two adjacent frames .Detection and Tracking the moving target (person) from the scenes, which can improve the implementation of regional detection efficiency and performance.Secondly, this paper introduced the Artificial Neural Network to monitoring system, the RBF network's nonlinear classification characteristics is used in face recognition solutions. Using template matching ideas and trained RBF network for real-time face detection and recognition. The result shows that this method improve the intelligent of system.Compare to other traditional surveillance system has higher efficiency and implementation.Thirdly, on the video data storage, in this paper, using Microsoft's own compression technology, and designing a video data storage solutions, Which will reduce the number of video data storage, the same time without loss of valuable data.Finally, about alarm of the system. author briefly introduction about relevant processing technology.According to above contents, this papers researched a lot of technologies about monitoring system .and finally achieved an intelligent surveillance solutions. Author experiment in the ordinary personal computer, the results shows the methods effectivenes.
