XML(eXtensibile Markup Language)is a new generation of markup language which is designed and recommended by W3C. XML has been applied increasingly in the area of electronic commerce, due to its expansibility, flexibility, reliability, simplicity. XML promote the development of electronic commerce, which will gradually replace HTML. But the application of electronic commerce based on XML meets with influence which is illegal tampering, counterfeiting, and to deny, for reason that XML only defines data formation and does not safeguard information. XML digital signature has ensures the integrity, authentication and None-repudiation for the electronic commerce's information transmission. The paper introduces traditional digital signature and the basic algorithms in cryptoloty of XML digital signature, and summarizes the XML and other technology related to XML in the article. Analyze the principle of XML digital signature and study function of XML digital signature on various granule of XML document. Rearch Xpath transformation which can filtrate document and assure content which needs sign, but handle difficultlyThe paper proposes a signature transformation algorithm by constructing index structure of XML document to abstract specific information according to the XML documents'semantic path. The semantic path can ensure contextual information; choose information accurately which need sign. Realize granularity XML digital signature through signing one semantic path and information; Realize XML digital multi-signature through signing more semantic path and information. So we can guarantee the security of data and well formation of xml document, through signing semantic path and information. Realize to sign the whole XML document in JAVA SE 6.
