Acoustic doppler velocity profilers is based on ultrasound in the flow of fluid in the transmission of fluid will contain the flow of information of this principle, through the simple, reliable signal processing methods, the flow of information into the flow of information.ADCP system and the traditional flow measurement systems, with low-cost, easy installation and will not change the flow of fluid, and no additional resistance and other advantages, is a very ideal energy-efficient flow measurement system.However, the ADCP system is only in recent decades there was a new instrument, there are many places imperfect, has not been universal application,Result in the rapid development of science and technology today, Whether automated measurement technology for the improvement or for the cause of environmental protection, ADCP system research would be a very meaningful study.This paper describes the ADCP detection system with the fundamental principles and methods, in drawing lessons at home and abroad and advanced ultrasonic flow detection technology on the basis of the design integrity of the system hardware, system software and presented the design idea, part of the preparation of the software.System hardware to TI's TMS320VC5402 DSP and ALTERA the CPLD EP1K30TI144-2 as the core. Hardware, including the formation of ultrasonic signal and power amplification, signal reception, data collection, storage, display and DSP processor system; System software mainly in the frequency domain on the doppler signal for effective treatment: First on the doppler frequency shift information with the reception signal sampling and then FFT transform, then get the signal of the power spectrum, coupled with the appropriate digital filtering technology to be frequency shift signals corresponding to the frequency value, Based on this principle under the doppler effect, to strike a water flow rate and flow.As the condition of testing, the accuracy of system specific indicators also can not be measured, is the final article of the system improvements.
