With the quick development of the semiconductor manufacture and the popularization of the machine vision in China, it has become a necessary method to test products with using machine visions in product line. So it's of both market and practically great significance to research on the vision measure technique based on the feature dimension of PCB.The controller is one of the keys that affect the quantity of vision measure. It determines the system capability and price in a certain extent. It's feasible to choose a single chip TMS320LF2407A DSP as the system controller because of its high speed, high performance, low power consumption, high integration and low price.The edge detection arithmetic is also an important factor which affects the quantity of vision measure. It is the one which carries out the measure action, directly determines its speed and quantity. So it's important to choose the arithmetic.Firstly this paper introduces how to certain the system project by step, expounds that the project is feasible considering the performance and price. It chooses a CPU through comparing different ones on their performances and using fields, and it also chooses chips around and interface circuitries according to the least requirement of the system. All of these ensure the operation of the system.Secondly this paper introduces the circuitry design, and shows the pictures of PCB made according to the design. It shows not only the circuit diagram, but also the design standards, evidences and sums up the keys in design, which is of strong practicability.Thirdly this paper introduces the edge detection research. It chooses the LOG arithmetic to be the best one for the PCB feature dimension vision measure through theory analyses and simulation compares. It also obtains the edges of a PCB gray image through MATLAB, proves that it's feasible to choose the LOG arithmetic. In another hand, it introduces the classical arithmetic which is worth consulting. Finally this paper introduces the software design of the system. It explains the ideas and the structures of programs, and also the order of system operates. The work is finished.
