| Mill is the vital equipment in powder production and processing. They work in high dust, noise, etc. moreover, their bed plates bear large work-load when they are working. So, they are easy to generate all kinds of faults when they are working. The thesis design and build a monitoring system, which will help workers to get fault information earlier. Also, the thesis gives the result of simulate tests according to design.By means of analysis aimed at faults mill are easy to generate, the thesis designs to monitor particle size, the impact load of the bed plate, work condition of electromotor and mechanical bearing when mills are working. The monitor to particle size is based on laser diffraction, the others are based on the corresponding sensor and data acquisition cards. By them, the mill work condition will be showed.The thesis gives a detailed theoretical analysis about the laser diffraction method. According to the theoretical analysis the thesis builds a mathematical model. Also, the thesis designs a set of optical system according to work features of mil to enable them to match the measurement of particle size requirements. The thesis also designs the software which matches the designed hardwares. The software system uses the method which mixes C++ and Matlab, make C++ program embedded Matlab program. In the Matlab program, the computer calls C++ subroutine to access to the external hardware, then, the computer analyses and processes data in Matlab program.By simulating mill working conditions, the thesis gives test data by the simulation test. According to the result, the monitor system built in the thesis is feasible, reliable and can be used in engineering practice. |
