Virtual Laboratory is a new kind of mode of education which can make schoolteaching extend from classroom and laboratory to everywhere covering with Internet.research and development of"Virtual Communication Experiment System"makeimportant sense to students achieving independent learning; individualized teachinginteractive teaching, to help students better grasp the principles of communicationknowledge.By using VC++ programming language combined with High Data Link ControlHDLC) protocol, design and develop virtual communication experiment system basedHDLC rules. The system integrates the functions of the experiment teaching withexperiment simulation to an integrated virtual communication laboratory. Using virtualnodes technology simulation out HDLC communication process, system makes acomprehensive simulation for the three communication modes of HDLC rules: NormalResponse Mode, Asynchronous Response Mode and Asynchronous Balance Mode.Using the system, users can get real-life experience of the link building process, andlearn about the configuration and verification of link. Based on the object developmentuser GUI in the network model, it allows the user to directly complete the designprocess of the network topology by using mouse, the allocation method is also veryintuitive convenience, and the system also can demonstrate the process of data flowprocess by the way of animation. This system has a certain degree function of virtual experiment, can helpcommunication researchers implement basic HDLC communication simulation andhelp students learn HDLC protocol use.
