Design And Implementation Of Layered And Componential Anonymous Communication System

With the rapid development of computer network as a transmitting way of communication and information, concers about the problem of network-security has grown. At present, researchers have advanced many anonymity strategies and realized some prototypes aimed at certain anonymous demands and applications. Typical anonymous systems, using rerouting mechanism, have many analogical functions and similar implementing technology. However, many prototypes are realized independently and are short of the ability of reusing and extensibility.By researching the techonlogy of anonymous communication systems deeply, a layered component-based design of anonymous system is proposed in this paper, based on the object-oriented idea. In the design, each layer has several components, which implement different function units of anonymous system. Each component is implemented by the technique of JavaBean, then saved into the Component Library setting up in the system for the components' storage and management. A XML document is utilized to save the component information, so that users can easily choose their requisite components from the Component Library by setting symbols in the XML document, making components in the anonymous communication system reusable. An integrity anonymous system can be constructed by components transfering the interface methods one another, which improves the system development efficiency. In addition, when a new anonymous application or requirement needs to be implemented, the new reusable component will be designed and appended to the Component Library, which has good extensibility.Finally, the paper sums up our work during the design and development, and discusses how to improve the system in the future.
