Testing And Maintenance For Drinking Water Information System Based On Web

While the complexity of Web application information system is increasing and the scale is expanding, the complexity of the software is increasing. How to guarantee the Web application's accuracy and reliability has been concerned by people. The testing of Web Application System has become an important part in the process of software development.On the basis of the development of the drinking water information system, the author completed the test and the following maintenance. During the system's development, author researched the architecture of the Web information system, testing methods, performance analysis and optimization methods, the data convert methods between Excel and SQL Server database. Based on the theoretical study, author achieved the plan management and project management module of the drinking water information system. Then author made the functional testing on the system's Website link, contents, forms, database access, user management, integrated query, competence management, and other aspects. Author tested the system's performance by using testing tool--OpenSTA. Finally, according to the test results author optimized the system from the database, data access methods, SQL statements and stored procedures and other areas. Improving the systemresponse time significantly, meeting the needs of users.All the work including research, development, testing and system optimization discussed above is presented in this paper.
