With the development of communication technique, digital technique plays an important role in military domain and our daily life. Video decode terminal also transfer from traditional workstation and monitor to various kinds of embedded devices such as set-top-box, mobile phone, PDA, mobile TV and so on. However, digital video signal apt to be disturbed by bit error by reason of information channel and interferer, if the interferer can't be rectified during signal demodulator, the display terminal would show with mosaic, halt and blank screen, the video quality decline seriously. Therefore, such a method becomes more important which can restrain mosaic and improve video quality with comparatively little spending.Analyses the cause of video quality decline, follow the international research actuality, study the character of codec and then invented a kind of low spending and high performance method of error concealment of digital video base on SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) multi-looks. This method designed space multi-looks and time multi-looks algorithm using the redundant video information in video stream, at the same time, algorithm complication and effect was validated on the open source software model JM12.At the same time,talk about current popular video apply environment and hardware platform scheme, calculate error concealment algorithm complication according different platforms and standards, research implementation detail and discuss the feasibility and complication of every error concealment algorithm, advice reasonably reference design based on classic video terminal. At last did a good attempt base on CAM and UTIplayer video system.
