Hydrophobic measurement is a main way to evaluate the performance of insulators. The usage of image analysis technology provides an accurate method of detecting the hydrophobic grades. Considering the complexity of hydrophobic image, the veracity of detection which is based on initial image is lower than which is based on processed image. Fuzzy theory and ant colony algorithm are used in hydrophobic image processing. Several processing algorithms are present in this paper such as enhancement algorithm based histogram equalization,De-noising algorithm based fuzzy logic,segmentation algorithm based fuzzy entropy and feature extraction by ant colony algorithm. To prove the efficiency of these algorithms in hydrophobic detection, detection based the results of image processing are implemented. Experiments results show that the veracity of detection is promoted by these image processing algorithms. |
