The developing of Pervasive Computing leads the third wave of computing technology, as well as novel challenges of computer application. The thesis concentrates on the research of spatial model of pervasive computing environment (PCE) and related security topics. First of all, the thesis presents a novel hybrid spatial model by analyzing the spatial modeling process within PCE, along with systematically surveying of related international research literatures. The hybrid model consists of different abstract layers of modeling space, including Geometric Layer, Geometric Topology Layer, Semantic Layer, Semantic Topology Layer and Presentation Layer. The model is defined by XML Schema which brings high openness and extensibility. Second, the thesis analysis the security and privacy issues of PCE, and then presents a formal definition of location-enhanced access controlling model based on the hybrid spatial model. The model of an application scenario is given after that. Finally, the thesis briefly introduces a prototype system based upon M-Show system. The successfully implementation of prototype system supports the feasibility of two proposed models in PCE.
