The Design And Implementation Of Junk Short Messages Monitoring Platform

While short messages service provides convenience in communication to customers, however, it also provides channels for the spreading of junk texts. Although mobile network has been developing and being improved, meanwhile, there have been increasing concerns from all sides of the society about the spreading of illegal or demeaning short messages through mobile communication services. In order to clean the mobile communication environment and establish a healthy, prosperous mobile network industry,Ministry of Inoformation Industry started a campaign named The Sunshine Green Network Project, which was intended to get control of illegal and demeaning short messages.Therefore, to echo the call of Ministry of Inoformation Industry in an effort of establishing a green network and protecting the good image of its brand, China Mobile built a junk short messages monitoring platform to stop illegal or demeaning messages in the process of promoting the development of mobile information services.This paper started off by briefly analyzing the environmental background and the law ordinance based on which China Mobile began the campaign on the control of junk short messages and the objectives of building the junk texts monitoring platform system, being followed by an illustration on the key technologies involved in the building of the junk texts monitoring platform, including: texting technology, FTP technology, computer network and database technology.Based on that, the paper emphasized on demonstrating the design and plan of the junk texts monitoring platform system, and detailed the design theories, construction frame, software structure and basic functions of the system. In addition to that, the paper also briefly illustrated the process procedure of the system, for instance: The paper detailed the procedure of ptp shortmessages,group customers shortmessages,monternet shortmessages and own-service shortmesges To picture out the whole service process procedure.Lastly,It descibed the interconnection and implementation of the the junk short messages monitoring system and other networkelments. It focused the discussion of the process procedure and interfaces between the monitoring system and apllication gateway,shortmessages gateway ,interconnection gateway,shortmessages center ,BOSS system.The system has been put into use after the testing, and it gives satisfying results as designed. This system provides an effective way to control junk messages; it not only greatly limits the amount of harassing, deceiving or pornography short messages, but also provides a safe and reliable communication environment for cell phone users.
