Modern telecommunication networks are characterized with large scale, complexity and heterogeneity, which require that we have to manage telecommunication networks effectively to maintain their high reliability and high usability. As an important problem in network fault management, alarm correlation analysis can help network administrators to delete redundant alarms, locate faults and predict faults before they happen. However, traditional alarm correlation analysis methods can hardly work well when networks are complex and changeful, while the knowledge discovery method can overcome the shortage of traditional methods. For this purpose, this paper designed a general preprocessing algorithm which can process large data efficiently; innovated one improved correlated rules mining algorithm which can satisfy the requirement that makes data mining on complex telecom network data on a large scale; brought forward a network topo constraint algorithm based on telecom network topo character and alarm spread trait, which can filter frequent patterns and enhance the precision of mining. The main works of thesis include the following aspects:Firstly, analyzed the character of one Mobile Communication company alarm data, and made a whole study in preprocess algorithms used for processing large data, then designed and implemented a general preprocessing solution.Secondly, made a full-scale research in alarm correlated algorithms based on correlated rules mining, and innovated improved AprioriEn algorithm.Thirdly, researched network topo character and alarm spread trait based on this mobile telecommunication network, and generated Topo constraint files only fit for this mobile telecommunication network, and designed a network topo constraint algorithm applied for all telecommunication networks.Fourthly, took part in designing and implementing a network alarm correlated rules mining prototype system used for actual telecom network. In the process of developing the prototype, I undertook the design and realization of preprocess module, and the design of network topo module and AprioriEn algorithm.
