Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is a kind of non-touching automatic identification technology which has been developed since 1990s and has been closely concerned. Because of its advantages such as non-touching, non-artificial, and can work in harsh environment, it has been used more and more widely, and it has been called the most development potential technology in 21st century. However, as a new rising applied technology, RFID has some disadvantages, such as the disunity in standard, high-cost price and so on. This dissertation makes detailed study and does some simulation analysis with MATLAB on its one of the key technology: anti-collision.In the region of the reader's antenna if there are more than one tag arrived, they almost send a signal at the same time, which can cause channels competition, and the signal will be interference between, that is the collision occurred. To ensure the correct information transmission, we should use anti-collision technology as much as possible to avoid the collision occurred.In normal circumstances, the collision can be divided into two types which is tag collision and reader collision. The present study of the anti-collision technology is mostly established on the basis of the TDMA, and often realized with software. In this paper, In this paper, there have a comprehensive study of these two algorithms, that is, certainty and uncertainty algorithms and analysis of their respective advantages and disadvantages. Based on the already exist algorithms, we proposed a new superior algorithm and made the basis simulate and verify with MATLAB. By a large number of contrast experiment, there are following conclusions: when the tag's serial number is eight, the new algorithm reduced about 50 percent of its total number of search compared to the exist algorithm such as the binary algorithm and the Dynamic binary algorithm ,in the tags need to send bits and readers need to return the bits of these two indicators, the algorithm is superior to all others algorithm, as the tag's serial number increase, the algorithm Performance remained at a level, which is a measure of stability. Finally, the anti-collision technology issues in the analysis and prospects, and gives a new direction for research.
