The mass media access and interact of hearing disability adolescence is rarely be studied.This condition is do with the physiological dominance—the hearing impose restrictions on them bring the "voice" into full play,but made them keep science then been forgot by researchers.on the other hand,this condition show us the hearing disability people,as a group,is live at the verge of been more and more weak.This article focus on the hearing disability child,use quantitative research methods just as interview and investigation,mainly studied the mass media use,media literacy and ego identity of hearing disability child.I hope my study can call on people give more attention to this poor group.The sample this study use is duplicate sampling,I test "QY special school" and "the fourth special school" as samples from all special school of shanghai,and then investigate all student at this two school at the grade six seven and night;we give out 86 piece of question paper and get 82 back,in which 75 is useful.The age structure is from 12 to 18,and the sex structure is 1.05:1(boys vs girls).The questionnaire we use is based on interview of teachers and student from special school,we also use another questionnaire about their ego identity,which was write by a scholars named NanFa Jiang who is leave in Taiwan.This study find out that the hearing disability adolescence have peculiarity on the mess media access\media equipment own and media use.At First,the most media they family have is electronic media for example TV,DVD/VCD and personal computer;paper media like news paper and magazine are at the second group; secondly,the hearing disability adolescence paid more time on TV and Internet;few hearing disability adolescence read magazine and see firms frequently;the personal computer the hearing disability adolescence family have is higher then normal shanghai family on average;and we find out that the personal computer per hearing disability adolescence family have is closely related to the frequency of net play both the hearing disability adolescence and their parent.The Ego Identity of hearing disability adolescence group also have their own characteristic.At the first place,sexual distinction of hearing disability adolescence is not related to their Ego identity development;But the fully hearing disability adolescence have much more crisis on their Ego identity development then the partly hearing disability adolescence;The last and also the significant,we find out that the use of media is closely related to their Ego identity development.
