Robot assisted artificial cochlea-transplant technique is an artificial cochlea transplant that uses robotics. Compared with traditional artificial cochlea transplant, robot assisted artificial cochlea transplant has much advantage, such as high precision in orientation during surgery, little pain on patient and so on. At present, the study on this technique in foreign country is in the beginning and no news on it in our country. For the sake of many deaf patients getting well and promoting the medical treatment in our country, studying on this technique is very important. Navigation system is an important part of robot assisted artificial colchlea- transplant system, and the image processing is important in navigation. So the research on the processing arithmetic of images is very important for the whole operation system. In this background, the task in this paper is advanced.The paper studied on the structure and the working theory of robot assisted artificial cochlea-transplant system and designed the structure of image processing based on the characteristic of images. This paper also studied on the image enhance processing, the image segmentation processing and the pick-up of the target region.First, the paper introduced the concept and development instance of the robot assisted surgery technique, artificial cochlea-transplant technique and robot assisted artificial cochlea-transplant technique, studied on the structure and working theory of robot assisted artificial cochlea-transplant system. Then this paper analysed some of the imaging mode and characteristic of medical images, and designed the structure of image processing.Second, the paper studied on the cut-out processing of images based on the characteristic of images. Then the paper compared RGB color model with HSI color model and chooses RGB color model finally. The paper presented and adopted histogram equalization for image highlighted processing, then compared three filters among quadrate average filter, median filter, and Butterworth filter in experiment, and chose median filter finally.Third, the paper studied on the Euclidean and got the Euclidean of original images. Then compared three arithmetic of image segmentation among SUSAN operator, FCM arithmetic and the OTSU arithmetic, and advances an automatically segmentation arithmetic based on the OTSU.Fourth, the paper presented and adopted binary morphologic arithmetic and took the target region out of images based on the information of first image. Then the paper analysed the bright spot in images that interferes the lead of laser walking route and advanced an automatically processing arithmetic based on the OTSU again to find the portion of target region edge which abut bright spot and got the position information about the bright spot and offerd decision-making information for the laser walking route.By studing on the arithmetic of medical image processing based on visual navigation, this paper advanced the precision of orientation of navigaton system and security in surgery.
