coming, Medical Image has been an important supplementary measure of the doctor's diagnosis and treatment. Because medical image has a few advantages, such as safe, rapid, real-time, it plays a great part in medical diagnosis, surgical planning, treatment, postoperative monitoring and so on. As the developmental foundations of these imaging technology, Medical Image Processing leads to profoundly changes of modern medical diagnosis. Image enhancement technology plays an important role in quantitative and qualitative analysis of medical imaging. It has affected the following treatment and analysis directly.Image processing plays an important part in the medical field. Image Enhancement is the key of image processing. It includes linear increase, automatically increase, histogram equalization, image smoothing and sharpening. The aim is to use the techniques to improve the image visual effects or to convert into an image that suited to analyze of the machine and the doctors. It makes the image easier to observation and provides information as much as possible. Image Enhancement does not increase the information of the image data, do the dynamic range. It makes these feature detection or identification easier, to enhance the image value fully.This article aims at the features of the medical image features, makes use of Image Enhancement Technology, processes to get visual effects better and more useful images. Including the following areas:Firstly, introduce the development of the digital medical image by the importance of image enhancement technology for medical, show the practical significance of this article. In the processing of the image production, transmission and transformation, due to a variety of factors, often result in images with the original features of the original image, or between certain differences between, such differences as inferior or degradation. Image changing to the bad image causes difficulties and inconvenience. Thus, it is necessary to manage the bad image properly. Image enhancement is the use of technical means of a series of images to adjust some of the features, such as edge, contour, contrast and so on. To improve the image of the visual effect or transform the image into another form so that the vision observation or further processed of the image.Secondly, introduce the knowledge of the digital image, including , development ,application and research to lay the foundation for follow-up studies. Introduce Fourier Transform (FFT) and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and other related mathematical knowledge. The images of the human tissue not only respond the drawings of human organ contour, but also densely covered irregular spots namely noise, which has greatly affected the quality of the image and the identification of the focus. This paper takes distinct methods of the image enhancement to achieve the best medical image.Thirdly, against the image enhancement technology for several techniques, such as low-pass filtering, high-pass filtering, median filtering are described detailed, and the enhancement of each effect are resulted and analysis. Image quality of image enhancement without considering the reasons for the decline, interests in the outstanding selectively, and attenuates unneeded characteristics. The main purpose is to improve the intelligibility of the image. The means of image enhancement divides into airspace and frequency. Airspace is used for operating the image of all pixels, such as the relevant histogram processing, spatial filtering, and etc. Frequency is used for operating the image of transformation in domain and changing transform coefficients. For example, Fourier transforms and so on. Then get the image in anti-transform treatment.Finally, introduce the use of MATLAB .Using the software to verify noise and fuzzy effect for filtering medical images by different methods of filtering like smooth filtering, sharpen filtering. After processing medical images by histogram equalization, the image's dynamic range increases and the overall image contrast does, so the contrast becomes clear. Low-pass filtering is better than histogram equalization in filtering effect and it is worse in processing speed. High-pass filtering not only overcomes the above drawbacks but also gets edge enhancement of medical images. So that it makes the image clearly and identifiably. Median filtering of medical image processing with a better result, it removes noise, and it is able to maintain basically medical image details.Such methods can restrain effectively curb the noise and fuzzy of the medical images and completely reserve the details of the image. However, the combination of median filtering and histogram equalization filtering can be the best medical images. It not only preserves the important information of the image, but also effectively restrains the noise. This provides the most accurate and precise data. It is easy to diagnose for the doctor and avoid from causing misdiagnosis. Because that will bring irrevocably consequence.
